Kindergarten Literacy is a growing collection of worksheets kindergarten teachers of English Learners can use to supplement readalouds with authentic writing in their print-rich classrooms. As an EL teacher, I created this curriculum to support district kindergarten teachers in reading culturally-relevant and socio-emotional themed texts in diverse classrooms.

Kindergarten Literacy is designed on the principles that teachers and students share the pen and that students learn better when they see teachers as writers, hence the handwritten “look” of every worksheet.
