
Teachers and administrators provide simple visuals, show videos, and collaborate with community experts in week-long celebrations though the time can be extended or shortened to fit the community’s need.
As the district EL teacher, I partnered with the art and music teacher, librarian, and food service director. This curriculum is designed to ease teachers of the predominant culture into different traditions in a noninvasive and nonrestrictive manner. Careful consideration and much collaboration went into the material presented.
